I wanted to create a peaceful mood and a sense of serenity. I find nature very calming so nature was the best choice in my opinion to create that peaceful look. It's a little difficult to tell what exactly is in the picture, but it's a creek surrounded by trees and plants. The mystery pulls you into the peice and to increase the mystery I decided to up the contrast, reduced the saturation, and used a sharpening filter. This photo was taken from a bird's eyes view which to mean causes a sense of security.
