In this peice, contrast was a very important element. I made the contrast a lot higher to show the difference between the kitten's eyes against his black fur. There's also a strong contrast between the kitten and the background. I cropped this photo a great deal to put more focus on the subject and less on the hay. I also used a soft glow filter which also helped show the contrast as well as creating a peaceful look. I went for a playful and peaceful mood for this peice which is seen by the contrast and glow effect. I also put a text along the bottom to bring the peice together. I used a font named new romantics, which gives off a playful vibe. I used stroke selection to make the text thicker, and then I filled the selection with a tree bark pattern.
